Classical Music With Big Mike

On this Mozart Monday, July 10, 2023, I turn to one of my favorite Mozart pieces, his Clarinet Quintet in A Major. The one reason I love this piece so much because it contains one of my two favorite instruments, the clarinet. The other favorite instrument of mine is the piano.

Mozart’s clarinet quintet is so beautiful and so sublime. He scored it in the key of A Major with four movements: 1. Allegro, 2. Larghetto, 3. Minuet/Trio, and 4. Allegretto con variazioni.
